Christmas Box Appeal (Annual)
Each Christmas, volunteers package and wrap Christmas boxes which are sent to Berkovitsa and distributed to various institutions. In our record year (2018), we received 270 boxes from Lambrook School alone, plus extra clothing and toys.
Teachers & Education
- Provided sports training and equipment to local schools
- Made a contribution to a teacher training programme with the British Council
Hospital Support
- Bought a car for the Emergency Hospital for home visits
- Delivered medical and other supplies by van
Shoebury School Partnership
Paul Evans, Head of PE at Shoebury High School, brought UK teenagers to assist in running sports projects in Berkovitsa. This led to a Sports Day for the entire town attracting over 500 participants, and an annual event that has continued for over 20 years.
