Our mission is to help people of less prosperous areas and less fortunate circumstances live fulfilled and contented lives in eastern Europe.
The Marble Project is a small, Essex-based charity which is committed to looking after children and orphans, families, people with severe physical disabilities and mental health issues, as well as the frail and elderly. Our focus is Bulgaria – specifically the town of Berkovitsa and its surrounding areas.
Our dedicated team of UK-based volunteers visit this part of Bulgaria a few times a year, meeting with the growing number of people joining our cause, in order to organise social events and sports days, along with supporting infrastructure build projects amongst other community initiatives – all of which helps to change peoples’ lives for the better. More can be found in our Projects area of the website.
Regular updates are posted on our Facebook page – see previews below.
We have also started Instagram profile in 2019 (finally!) and the Marble Project is now registered with Amazon Smile. So you can continue to support the charity, and the people it helps, during these difficult coronavirus times.
